6" Alvin Silverline Master-Bow Compass

The Silverline 6” master bow compass is an attractive, high quality compass for drafting and drawing circles. It makes a perfect gift for a draftsman, architect, engineer or student. The bow compass is constructed of solid brass with a matte chrome finish. The compass comes with a sturdy push-button mechanism which engages the scissor-action threading system for quick adjustments for drawing. The distance of the legs can be fine-tuned with the precision center wheel. The double knee-joint allows for parallel leg positioning and precise execution of circles up to 14" diameter. The bow compass lead and needle points are adjustable and replaceable. Compass is shipped in a break-resistant, velvet-lined case with see-through lid and spare lead.
