Paper Trimmers – Paper trimmers are also referred to as paper cutters are manufactured by company such as Ingento, Dahle, Fiskar, Rotatrim, Neolt, X-acto, GBC, and more. The paper trimmers come in different styles – rotary paper trimmers that use a circular blade, guillotine paper trimmers that use a long straight blade, and straight blade trimmers that use a utility knife style blade that is more disposable. The rotary paper cutters/trimmers such as rotatrim and neolt are great for trimming drawings. They are extremely accurate and will cut paper, mylar (drafting film) vellum, and a variety of other materials depending on the manufacturer and model. The guillotine paper trimmers such as the Ingento are great for cutting paper and other similar materials. They are rugged and durable, but not as safe as a rotary trimmer. The straight knife trimmers are excellent for cutting foamcore (foamboard), gator board, and other thick hard to cut materials.
